At the Rock (2025) - A moment in a garden, amongst the tree and rocks.
Music Left Behind (2024). Memories through the tarnished, white brass. Stories to be told.
Algernon the Annoyed (2025). As excited as I was to catch him at that exact moment, he was just as frustrated that I interrupted his journey.
Sunset and Shadows (2021). The room filled with the glow as the sun settled down for the day.
Heart: Driftwood Collaboration (2025). He saw the wood, didn't have the right lens. I saw the heart, and took the shot we found together.
A Deep Breath (2024). A warmer February morning in DC. She walked into the shot, faced away, took in the sun, and wandered off again. A moment of clarity and ease.
Terezín Stream (2012). Outside of Prague. Now a place of serenity, with remembrances all around.
Reflections on a Sound (2025). The power of light in a passing moment - edited to match the experience I had with them.
Swirls (2020). The Van Gogh-esque swirl of his growing fur still makes me smile.
Purple Gator (2025). He lays in wait as the Egrets of Avery Island, LA roost nearby.
When We Were Laughing (2025). I don't remember why we laughed, but I remember this moment and captured it as we continued east through Louisiana.
Southern Rest (2025). On the shore of Jungle Island, LA. The solitude of the space highlighted the flow of the water on the air.
In Vein (2025). A moment of haste, a vision of something deeper. Edited to meet the vision of my encounter.
Hooked (2025). The sun on the lake, no one around but us and the alligator gars. The cove provided a moment of quiet looking from where we came.
A Smaller World (2025). Sometimes the moment shows itself in growth and vibrance from the darkness.
Vanity (2022). She knows and she accepts that you know too.
Encapsulated (2025). The sunset, the sky, the inverse. The exact moment where it all hits together to show the world.
Through the Streams (2025). The most mundane things can provide beauty at unexpected moments.
The Cowboy (2021). Boothill Graveyard, Tombstone, Arizona. The moment the dreams of a boy came to reality as he met the history he knew by heart.
First Moonshot (2020). Taken with my Pixel Phone and the rig for my Celestron NexStar 6SE. The first picture I took through the scope.
Go Texans! I'm Ready for WR! (2020). The week he upgraded the tennis ball for the frisbee. He's never looked back.
Street in Terezín (2012). These streets have stories. They saw horrors and they saw defiance. I heard their requiem as I walked the streets north of Prague.
From the Trees (2012). Prague from across the river.
Sunset on the Sound (2021). View of Puget Sound at sunset in Tacoma, WA.
National Carillon (2024). These bells toll across the nation's capitol from the highest tower of the National Cathedral in DC.
Torch Lilies (2021). Foreign to me, they took over Spring in Tacoma as I explored.
Experiencing (2022). Vegas, whiskey, and memories of moments with friends.
Snow Dog 2 (2021). He had never seen the snow before, but he found his natural environment. He's never as speedy as when he's in the snow.
At the Edge of the World (2011). She walked off on her own, away from the group, pensive. On the shore of Ireland, she experienced something the rest of us missed.
Smudged (2025). Caught as the sun shone through thick glass. Edited for the vision of the moment.
Dublin Friends (2011). We gathered here, we laughed here, we created here.
Beautiful Sadness (2024). It stands out to me as a memory I never had and I miss it as if I've forgotten.
Marsh Mellow (2019). Fireside snacks, keeping warm, and a moment of relaxation.
Weathered (2025). The clear day reflected on the ripples and freedom was everywhere.
Bamboo Shot (2025). Reaching into the blue sky, competing for sunlight - the bamboo of Avery Island, LA stands out.
Waxed and Thriving (2025). It was alone, the only red leaf nearby. It gripped its tree and was the highlight of the area.
Bicycle 1 (2021). A bike hangs suspended from a beam well-offshore in Tacoma. So many questions.
Spring Storm (2022). It was inevitable and gone as fast as it rolled in.
Friends in the Window (2017). From this perch, they learned about the outside world together.
Leafy Feets (2025). Orange tipped Leaf-Footed Bug. He said hello, explored for a moment, and then was off on another adventure.
Bottomless Lakes 1 (2023). New Mexico, Bottomless Lakes State Park. The water reflecting the clouds.
Color in the Jungle (2022). Tulips thrive in a New York City downtown flower bed.
The Village (2024). Surely there are villagers resting amongst the leaves.
Surrounded & Fulfilled (2024). A hallway of possibilities in a moment of inspiration.
Suspicious (2024). His blue eyes watched me as I moved closer. He posed begrudgingly.
Outta Here (2025). A Colorado rabbit paused to say hello, before rushing off to his very important date.
The Light of Hope (2012). The eyes that looked down this portal had only glimmers of hope. Taken in Terezín, CZ.
Foxtail (2025). A foxtail shines in the sun of an Omaha afternoon, it's collection of webs waiting for new visitors at night.
Snow Dog 1 (2021). His first experience in the snow, a Texas dog is both excited and unsure.
Hunter's Elegy (2024). A corn spider rests on its web, the dragonfly's remnants a healthy meal as the summer starts to fade into fall.
Refractions in Blue (2024). Raindrops and a streetlight, editing to meet the imagination of the moment.
In Flight (2019). The moment before take-off, a leader takes charge.
Fueled 1 (2025). Burning for only seconds, the light flickered and lit up the area before it disappeared.
New Experiences (2022). Seeing the Vegas lights for the first time at the start of the rest of her life.
A Morning Snow (2024). After the first snow of the year, horses awaken to graze the meadows of Ohio.
Hobbitses? (2025) - A shot of imagination taken near Driscoll Mountain, LA, edited for the moment of inspiration. One never knows what one will find in the roots of a tree.
